Summary: World - Europe - Italy - Marche - Ancona - Fossombrone

The property and it's ground directly borders to the National Park 'Monte Cesane', a highly recommended living area in the Fossombrone comunity. There are only a few neighbours around, the nearest neighbour, an italian summer cottage is around 1 km away. You have a view on some other neighbours in the wider area, but you'll hear anything from them because normally there is a small valley or two inbetween.

So at least the villa lies absolutely dominant and alone on it's little hill in a height of around 500 m above sea level. From which direction you ever arrive: you always see this marvellous property placed castle-like high above the Metauro valley.

The city lying next is Fossombrone, it's around 4 km away. The soccer team of Fossombrone is financed by the Dutch designer Dirk Bikkemberg, who also runs an outlet shopping center there. Just a few kilometers away you find outlet centers of some of the big italian designers. 

The neareast famous italian renaissance town is Urbino with a fantastic ducal place and known for it's historic and still existing university. You reach Urbino via a small, lovely and famous country road directly through the National Park of Monte Cesane in just 30 minutes.

The Catria mountains with possibilities for skiing in winter are also just 25 km away, you also have the opportunity for daytrips to the Sibillian mountains with heights up to  2.500 m and one of the biggest caves in the world with an internal height of 300 m.

It can't be far to the Adriatic Sea when you can see it from the property, you only have to go 25 km to Fano (30 minutes by car), you can join the adriatic party life in Rimini just 50km away. The beaches between Rimini and Ancona differ between fine sand over stones to rocks, anything you prefer. You find open public beaches and hotel beaches where you can rent an umbrella and a Liege for a day or a season. Also in the middle of the summer season you will find 'your' free place at one of the beaches. But in spring or autumn you often are alone on a walk at the beach for hours. 

Both, Rimini and Ancona have small airports and you are able to reach them in less than 45 minutes.

The distance to Italys capital Rome is just a litte bit more than 200 km via a motorway.
